What is Gettaway Club?

The Gettaway Club is a social activities centre for adults with learning difficulties. Based at Nottingham MENCAP on the City Hospital premises, it provides an array of activities for all of it's members.

From art classes to pool tournaments, Wii games and board games as well as the main activity team game based upon popular TV shows such as "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", "Family Fortunes", "Blockbusters" as well as many, many more. Every Gettaway Club evening ends with a members disco.

The club also arrange regular day trips to theme parks, shows and pantomimes as well as regular evenings such as Karaoke night and themed Discos and parties for annual events such as Christmas, Valentines, Halloween etc.

Gettaway club membership is open to adults (aged 18+) and is held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 18:45.
